The proposed Salisbury Solar Farm is a 700MW solar farm project located between Uralla and Walcha in the New England Tablelands of Northern NSW. More details can be found on the project's website.
About the Project
Once operating, the Salisbury Solar Farm will generate up to 1,500GWh of electricity each year, equivalent to the electricity use of approximately 240,000 households. The Walcha Energy Project, and the Salisbury Solar Farm, will provide a progressive benefit sharing scheme where neighbours and the local community receive direct financial benefits from each part of the overall development.
