May 2023
Walcha Energy thanks local community members and businesses for their continued engagement in our proposed projects.
We recently continued our engagement for the Ruby Hills Wind project by holding two additional community information sessions. These sessions allowed community members to learn more about the project and offer feedback on our early plans.
This feedback will assist us in finalising the Ruby Hills Wind Scoping Report, which we plan to submit to the NSW Government by mid to late 2023. The report is the first formal step in the NSW environmental planning process. Comprehensive social and environmental studies and further community engagement will follow this project's preliminary phase as we move through the approval process.
Your feedback is important
Walcha Energy takes our relationship with the community seriously. We look forward to continuing to work with local stakeholders as we develop the Ruby Hills Wind project - ensuring that it sits comfortably within the local landscape and community.
Our independent consultant, AAP Consulting, is undertaking a survey to inform the project’s Social Impact Assessment. Click here to have your say and participate in the online survey.
There will be more opportunities to provide input and learn more about the proposed project in the coming months.
